The beach of Badine

The beach of Badine is located on the eastern tombolo of the peninsula of Giens in Hyères just 150m from the campsite Mediterranean, it will delight young and old with its fine sand and clear water, it is perfect for children who can play as they please because it is very shallow. It offers a superb view of the islands of Hyères and the peninsula in good weather. From the campsite, you will access it by a footpath shaded by tall pines.

The beach of L'Almanarre

This long white sand beach of about 5 kms is located along the salt road, one of two tombolos that mark the exceptional character of the peninsula of Giens.
The days of Mistral becomes the playground of windsurfers and kite surfers, prefer the beaches of the opposite tombolo to shelter you from the wind!
On the other side of the road you can see the ancient salt marshes where many wild birds including flamingos meet.
In addition to swimming and water sports the beach of Almanarre offers a spectacle of the most wonderful every night: the sunset, a moment not to be missed during your holidays in Hyères.

The domain of Rayol

A protected natural area of 20 ha, property of the Conservatoire du Littoral, at the foot of the Massif des Maures and facing the islands of Hyères. An invitation to travel through the Mediterranean landscapes of the world and landscapes with more arid or subtropical climate (no less than 11 regions of the world represented). Because the best memories are built as a family, the Domaine offers young and old to discover, in a fun way, ecological gardening and the different environments that make up this unique property in the region.

The village of Carnoules turtles

Carnoules Turtle Village is a unique educational and conservation center for turtle protection. It houses the scientific and conservation activities of the SOPTOM association.
Discover with family this village of 2 hectares of nature opening to you to know everything about the tortoise of the Moors and more than 50 species of the whole world.
Open every day from 9h to 19h. We recommend a morning visit to make the most of turtles that are more active as well as feeding at 10am except Wednesday.

The mine of Cap Garonne at Pradet

One of the five most beautiful mineralogical sites in the world. From the life of the miners to the history of the rock, visiting these ancient copper mines is a living lesson, a fascinating adventure for young and old alike. An exceptional site located at the top of Cap Garonne with a panoramic view of the islands of Hyères and the harbor of Toulon, and all around many hiking trails.
Tours are guided only and last approximately 1h15 minutes. The reservation is highly recommended.

The cable car of Mont Faron in Toulon

The Faron cable car is unique in the south of France.
It allows Toulon and many tourists to access the foot of the mountain at the summit at about 584 meters altitude: Mount Faron.
With an exceptional view over the harbor of Toulon, you can discover a memorial dedicated to the landing of Provence and the events of the summer of 1944, a zoo called the Fauverie du Faron and various hiking trails and two restaurants including a panoramic.

The Golden Islands

The golden islands or islands of Hyères are 3 islands located off the tip of the peninsula of Giens: Porquerolles, Port-Cros and the Levant.
Porquerolles is the most visited and tourist, you will access by boat from the Fondue Tower. On site you will find many restaurants, ice cream parlors and shops. Discover the island by bike (rental possible on site), swim in the crystal clear waters of the famous silver beach or visit the lighthouse Porquerolles, the mill of happiness or Fort St. Agathe.
Port-Cros is the wildest, classified National Park since 1963 is a paradise for hiking and diving. You will join it from the port of Hyères in about three quarters of an hour.

The peninsula of Giens

Connected to the mainland by two dunes, called double tombolo, the peninsula of Giens offers a succession of wild coasts, coves, beaches and pine forests. Between the two tombolos, the pond Pesquiers is a favorite place for migratory birds.
Unmissable, the lovely little port of Niel has retained its picturesque character. It is at the harbor of the Fondue Tower that is the pier for the islands of Hyères. The peninsula is an ideal place for water activities and mainly for kitesurfing, windsurfing and scuba diving.
For lovers of hiking the famous coastal path promises breathtaking scenery, you can also stop on one of the many coves along the path and enjoy the clear waters of the Mediterranean.
